Chris Cail, the current Mayor of Tell City, is quite the collector. He's been that way since he was a kid. To this day, he still has his Star Wars action figures and his Power Rangers. His fiance Brad admits that Chris owns a pretty impressive collection of rare memorabilia and there's A LOT of it. Chris acknowledges that he's always been "a collector of unique things." For instance, check out this iconic piece of Tell City history.

That's one of just three giant rocking chairs manufactured by Tell City Chair during that company's storied run in southern Indiana. One of the three was destroyed years ago in a fraternity prank. There are just two left in the U.S. Naturally, Chris owns one of them.

But it's this random collectible that caught my attention on social media over the weekend and inspired this story.

Well before Chris was elected Mayor of Tell City, he worked at the McDonald's location in Tell City. He started his McDonald's career way back in 1999 and spent nearly 12 years there. It's clear his love for the fast food chain and its fun collection of mascots has endured. Today, he owns a 'McMindblowing' collection of McDonald's memorabilia. That collection includes several full-size Ronald McDonald statues including the one above.

Brad says that, in addition to a few Ronald statues, Chris also owns some other vintage McDonald's characters. In Brad's words, "That's why I'm fighting for him to get rid of at least one of them." However, I think it's clear from the photos below, getting Chris to part with any of this 'McHistory' is going to be a tall fast food order.
