A year ago, they called it Bluegrass Armageddon when Kentucky and Louisville met in the Final Four. Can you imagine what would happen if those two hated rivals played for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?!?

Warning signs would have to be posted at all entry points into the commonwealth. Hey, the possibility is very real. Kentucky has 5 of the top 10 and 6 of the top 25 incoming freshmen on the ESPN 100 coming in to join three very talented returning players in Kyle Wiltjer, Willie Cauley-Stein, Alex Poythress.

And while Louisville may have lost the incredible talents of Peyton Siva and Gorgui Dieng, the Cardinals are returning Russ Smith, Luke Hancock, Kevin Ware (who's expected to recover in time for the '13-'14 season), Stephan Van Treese, Montrezl Harrell, Wayne Blackshear, and Chane Behanan. That's six guys who played on the Cards' 2013 title team. Most of them also played on the 2012 Final Four squad. That's a LOT of post-season experience. Plus, they're bringing in talented junior college transfer Chris Jones, a point guard, to join Smith and Ware on the perimeter.

So let's see what happens. Already, the Cats and the Cards are the top two teams for 2013-2014 at espn.com and cbssports.com. And their rosters are set. Wow! We could be less than a year away from total chaos in the Bluegrass. But a good chaos. A chaos I would LOVE to see unfold!
