Hilarious KY Real Estate Listing Calls Out John Calipari Over a Weed Eater

I always used to think celebrities lived in homes far removed from any neighbors, but one of Kentucky's biggest lives in a neighborhood just like most everyone else.

Additionally, if you do a Google search for University of Kentucky head basketball coach John Calipari's home address, you'll get it. The Caliparis reside at 1732 Richmond Road, not too far from downtown Lexington and, consequently, Rupp Arena. That puts the coach a little more than seven blocks away from the newly-listed residence at 1016 Richmond Road.

In and of itself, that's hardly news. But what the homeowner insisted be included in his real estate listing IS.

A Kentucky Real Estate Listing With a Twist

First of all, we have good relationships with our neighbors, and if we needed to borrow, say, a rake or a lawn mower, there would be no issue. But, more to the point, those neighbors are NEXT to us. They are not seven blocks away. If I'm borrowing something, I'm looking a little closer to home. Which brings me to that Lexington real estate listing, at the end of which you'll find the following comment:

A tip of the hat to whoever made sure John Calipari the NEIGHBOR was included in this listing. I have no idea if that comment is in jest or if, indeed, Coach Calipari borrowed the man's weed eater and forgot to return it. (I'm of the belief that Calipari can afford to run out and get his own, but that's me.)

A Beautiful Old KY Home...Weed Eater or No Weed Eater

The funny thing is, the owner of the home that's for sale is getting all the viral love for his humorous comment when he'd much prefer having a buyer for a very nice old home, or so I'm assuming. It's been updated but was built in 1929. And apparently, they are a big Dolly Parton fan.

I wish the seller well, and wherever they end up, I hope they keep track of their weed eater.
