Today's a big day in Henderson, Kentucky for an Owensboro business owner. Melissa Smith, proud owner of Lady Luck Tattoo and Body Piercing here in town is opening the doors of her second shop. Yes! This is opening day for Lady Luck Tattoo and Body Piercing II and have a sneak peek at photos from inside the new shop.

Melissa founded Lady Luck Tattoo fifteen years ago and has been serving customers in Owensboro since. She has seen her business grow infinitely since its early days and first location over on West 4th Street. She's now in a recently renovated and redesigned shop on Scherm Road.

Melissa and I chatted recently and I asked her what inspired her to expand the business. She said the opportunity presented itself and she thought, "Why not??" As of today, the dreams for expansion are a reality.

The brand new Lady Luck Tattoo and Body Piercing II is located at 315 Turner Avenue in downtown Henderson.

Lady Luck Tattoo & Body Piercing II will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays 10am to 6pm.

I spoke with Melissa earlier this week about her big week, which has been monumental for a variety of reasons. She and her fiance Desiree Doll just got married in Lake Tahoe on Monday and they came back home last night to get ready for the big day in Henderson.

To celebrate, Melissa is giving us the chance to share some of the first photos from inside the new shop. It looks awesome and Melissa says will provide customers in Henderson the same exceptional service they get at Lady Luck in Owensboro.
