Lightning Kills a NASCAR Fan at Pocono

After a rain shortened the Pocono 500 declaring Jeff Gordon the winner, tragedy happened when lightning struck the car of a 41-year-old Pennsylvania man who was either in or around his car. Mutiple lightning strikes also occurred behind the grandstand injuring nine others.

NASCAR spokesman David Higdon said ''Our thoughts are with them as well as those affected by this unfortunate accident.''
