Local Veteran Non-Profit Teams Up to Raise Money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude has always supported America's heroes, and now V.E.T. (Veterans Empowered Together) has come together to help make their lifesaving mission possible.

So many local Veterans have come together to form V.E.T. in Owensboro. This group of men and women are some of the finest in the community. It's a sisterhood and brotherhood like no other. They do so much good in the community to help bring peace and healing to many. Just like today, by supporting St. Jude.

V.E.T. SUPPORTS ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

When the team from V.E.T. heard about the St. Jude Radiothon, they knew they wanted to help in some capacity. So, they came in answered phones, and talked about their vital mission. They know a thing or two about hardships and struggles. For area Veterans, active duty military, and their families, their services can help with loneliness, depression, and resiliency. They're always standing by to lend a helping hand. Just like St. Jude does for their patients. We're grateful for their service and sacrifice.

WHAT IS VETERANS EMPOWERED TOGETHER?

Veterans Empowered Together started with a group of Veterans young and old meeting once a month for coffee. Almost 2 years later, the group has turned into a non-profit organization of veterans and their vision is continuing to grow.

V.E.T. will continue to grow and our mission is to do just that for all generations.
