Less than a day after the reigning National Champ Louisville Cardinals lost to Kentucky in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, Kevin Ware has announced he is transferring and he will finish his collegiate career somewhere else.

Ware's journey in last year's tournament was halted abruptly by a gruesome leg break in the Elite Eight, and of course the Cardinals would go on to defeat Duke, Wichita State, and then Michigan in the National Championship game. Although he was miraculously back in the lineup at the beginning of this season, Ware wasn't 100 percent. He only played in nine games including being kicked in his injured leg December 17th against Missouri State; he then opted to redshirt.

It is not known at this time where Ware will finish his playing career.
