Louisville Native/WKU Grad Emily Althaus Featured In New Season Of ‘Orange Is The New Black’ [VIDEO]

All right, raise your hand if you have completed season 3. I know you can't see me, but my hand is enthusiastically up in the air! Season 3 of the hit Netflix series 'Orange is the New Black', which got an early release on Thursday night (!!!), is fantastic. Here's something cool I spotted on Facebook Friday.

What?!? A fellow alumnus is in the cast?! Well after I lost my mind, I did some research. Not only has Louisville native Emily Althaus appeared on such shows as 'Blue Bloods'  and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, she made her Broadway debut in 2012 alongside 'Big Bang Theory' star Jim Parsons in the revival of 'Harvey'. That's impressive.

Now, I'm not in the business of giving away spoilers, but one hint about Althaus' character, she shares most of her scenes with one of the biggest characters on the show. It's up to you to get to streaming to find out! Enjoy!
