Mammoth Cave is a massive jewel in Kentucky's crown. Field trips to this epic cave system are a right of passage for every kid in the surrounding area. I remember learning a fun poem in school to tell the difference between two common mineral formations that grow there.  Stalactites hang "tight" to the ceiling of the cave while Stalagmites grow with all of their "might" from the ground to reach the top.

I was absolutely wowed by the fact that this gigantic maze of tunnels and caverns was right underneath where people walk and play. Did you know that Mammoth Cave is the largest known cave system in the entire world? Right here in our backyard. That is so crazy to me and very cool! Here is a great video with an overview of the caves and their incredible history.

Some people, however, haven't been too impressed with Mammoth Cave.  They have even taken the time over the years to leave bad reviews on the park.  In response to the less-than-stellar comments, the fabulous folks on their social media team have decided to share them on Facebook.  When I came across their post in my newsfeed, I 'bout spit out my coffee.

I highly recommend reading the actual post so you can enjoy the comments in response to these party poopers. Give Mammoth Cave a "like" or "follow" and show them some love while you're at it. Those peeps are five whole stars in my book!
