My Favorite Mascot Is The Eagle [PHOTOS]

I know, I'm going to do my best to not sound biased, but eagles are cool! They are the mascot of my alma mater, Ohio Co. High School. And to be fair, Apollo is also the Eagles.

The particular eagle pictured wasn't around when I was in school. From what I understand, my sister currently teaches at OCHS (she took the pictures) the lobby eagle is stuffed but where it came from is a bit of a mystery. Not many schools can point to an actual representation of their particular mascot. You walk in the door and BAM! the face of freedom is staring at you. His/her wings are outstretched as to say "come at me bro!" Okay, that sounded a little creepy, but you get my point. And, no, Norman Bates did not have a hand in the creation of this eagle.

I was born and raised an Ohio Co. Eagle. Tons of navy/white t-shirts as far as the eye can see. My Dad coached three sports, tennis, track, and baseball at one point in time for the high school. My brother-in-law is stating his fourth year as the high school's head baseball coach, there's another t-shirt. No wonder I've always been drawn to the color blue.
