New York City Soda Ban Halted By Judge [VIDEO]
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s hope to ban oversized sugary drinks has been hit with a road block. New York Supreme Court Judge Milton Tingling made the ruling one day before the ban was set to go into effect, i.e. Tuesday. While obesity is certainly a serious issue in the US, Judge Tingling also said it would be impossible to fully enforce the ban in the city, and we all know NYC has a massive population. Imagine enforcing a ban like this all over the country. You kind have to wonder where to draw the line. The NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, which by the way, is a hilarious show, recently spoofed the soda ban controversy and as you’ll see, the soda cup sizes are ridiculous.
