Saturday is Drug Take Back Day across the tri-state.  And the Owensboro Police Department is participating.

Officials from the Owensboro Police Department have announced two locations on Saturday, October 26th where you can drop off your unused or expired prescription medications.

Kroger (2360 Frederica Street) in Wesleyan Park Plaza from 10am-2pm.

Walmart (5031 Frederica Street) from 10am-2pm.

Drug Take Back Day is a nationwide initiative sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and law enforcement agencies across the tristate are participating.

Also, remember, if you cannot make one of the drop off sites tomorrow, unwanted and expired prescription medications can be dropped off year around in the lobby of the Owensboro Police Department located at 222 E 9th Street.
