Owensboro Police Searching for U.S. Bank Robbery Suspect

We've had another bank robbery in Owensboro--this time at U.S. Bank, 1701 Carter Road in Owensboro. Earlier this afternoon, WBKR received this press release from the Owensboro Police Department:

On October 15, 2012, at 2:28 P.M., the Owensboro Police Department was
dispatched to a robbery in progress at the U.S. Bank located at 1701 Carter
Road. Officers arrived within 3 minutes of the call.

The suspect fled on foot prior to the arrival of police. Described as a white male, the suspect produced a handgun and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen wearing a camouflaged hat and facemask, a dark long sleeve shirt and grey pants.
The Owensboro Police Department is actively seeking information from the
community regarding this robbery.
