If you ever watched Chef Paula Deen, you know that her signature goodbye phrase was always wishing the audience "love and best dishes." This is the name of her new cookbook which she has said is a love letter to her family and fans.  She also predicts this will be the last cookbook she will ever write after having published 16 throughout her career starting when she was 50 years old.

Paula said in a recent interview that this cookbook is more than a collection of recipes. It is all about her life before, during, and after the kitchen. Full of stories and memories, the only way you can get the book is by pre-order via her website.

She tells one of her favorite stories in the book about the time Gordon Elliott put her in a hot air balloon.  She was terrified, but it was hilarious! Here is the interview where she talks about the book and what it means to her.

If you are a Chef Paula fan, make plans to visit her restaurant at Opry Mills on August 5th. Doors open at 9 a.m. and they are only planning to see about 250 people.
