Popular Western Kentucky Sub Sandwich Franchise Set to Open New Location

Firehouse Subs is expanding on Monday by opening a second location off Hwy 54 in Owensboro. Not only known for its extensive menu of hearty subs, farm-fresh salads, classic homemade soups, and freshly baked cookies but also for giving back to the community.

John and Jennifer Allen are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Not only do they care about serving delicious food, but the community is what's most important to them, and it shows! They always donate money, sponsor sports teams, or provide food for those in need.

For more than a decade, John and Jennifer have been Christmas Wish supporters. Although it's a great way to promote the restaurant, they don't do it for that. They do it because giving back comes from the heart. Excitement has been building as we await the new Firehouse Subs location to open.

FIREHOUSE SUBS SET TO OPEN SECOND LOCATION IN OWENSBORO

Kentucky is about to get its 13th Firehouse Subs restaurant! Besides Evansville, currently, the Owensboro location at 5220 Frederica Street, a location in both Bowling Green and Elizabethtown, is the closest in the area. Until now! Firehouse Subs is opening its doors off Hwy 54 in the strip center in front of Meijer. Everyone is invited to the grand opening celebration on Monday, January 29th, 2024. WBKR will be on site from 4 PM until 6 PM. We can't wait to see you there!

FIREHOUSE SUBS STORY

Firehouse Subs is known for its rich history of supporting first responders. The restaurant was started in 1994 by Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen. The family served in their fire and police departments for decades. Everything they experienced along the way led them to open the first Firehouse Subs location.
