I spent my Monday at Owensboro Dermatology, telling you WBKR listeners some very important information regarding skin cancer awareness month. Of course, we all know how important sunscreen, at least SPF 30, is to our daily routine, but there are other things you can do to prevent skin cancer. When treated before it spreads, most skin cancers can be cured. One great way of prevention is a skin cancer self-examination. Knowing your skin is key, especially when noticing any changes.

Here is a great guide to help you with your self-exam. Now, I get it... it may seem awkward at first. But, pour yourself an adult beverage, strip down to your skibbies and get to checkin!
