Centre College, other surrounding schools, and most of Danville, Kentucky went on lockdown Friday morning after a triple homicide that occurred at a local pawn shop.

Police are on the lookout for a heavy-set man in his 40s wearing a camouflage jacket after the suspect gunned down 35-year-old Michael Hockensmith, his wife, 38-year-old Angela Hockensmith--owners of ABC Gold, Games and More--and their customer, 60-year-old Daniel P. Smith of Richmond.

Danville police arrived on the scene after responding to a 911 call made by a 9-year-old boy who was present at the time of the killings. Another child was also in the store, but neither of the children were hurt and are with their grandparents.

The pawn shop is located less than a mile from the Centre College campus.

The Danville Police Department has been receiving tips about the homicides and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
