We should always give thanks and honor the men and women in uniform that serve and have served and fought for our freedoms. There's one special day planned in Owensboro to benefit "Honor Flight" and we can do just that!

Yesterday was a special day here in Owensboro as the Daviess County Sheriff's Office and others helped send off 7 local members of the World War II armed services to Washington D.C.                   They spent last night in Louisville and will take off this morning for the capitol where they will unite with other veterans from WWII.
