Hot country star Hunter Hayes is making a habit out of performing with legends. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist joined in an all-star jam with Blake Shelton and Stevie Wonder to close out the recent ACM awards, and now he'll join Wonder again on Monday night (April 22) for a duet on 'Dancing With the Stars.'
I keep wanting call this kid a kid. See, I did it again. Well, he looks like he's 12. He's actually 21. And he's really, really talented. I'd call Hunter Hayes a prodigy.
Okay, it's not country. But this kid is local and deserves some recognition! My good friend Misty Miller (we go way back, but she won't let me tell how far) has a son named Max. And Max has apparently inherited his mother's ability to sing. Yes, Misty is quite the local theatre star (seen routinely on stage with Back Alley Musicals) and sings like a lark.
