One of the off-camera awards was presented to Jason Aldean as he walked the red carpet before the show on Sunday night. The singer was surprised with a trophy for Vocal Event of the Year, which honored ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay,’ his duet with Kelly Clarkson.

Okay, hold up! What? According to Cpl Carlton Kohler, the Marines love Jason Aldean so much, they are trying to get the singer to perform in Afghanistan. How? They have started a Facebook campaign to help spread the word.

After watching a disapointing American Idol last night, and watching my favorite Idol Pia get voted off - I'm still trying to figure out why one of the best if not the best Idol was voted off?  Anyway something on American Idol to look forward to is coming April 14th, when season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson will join Jason Aldean on the stage to perform  their hit song "Don't You Wanna Stay"
