Race Talk Returns to WBKR Tuesday Night — NASCAR is off this Weekend
April 7, 2012 After 6 weeks on the road, NASCAR teams will be enoying their first off-weekend of the season. This first break in the action is much welcomed by the touring series. Drivers’ off weekend plans vary from a trip to the Bahamas to enjoying some time behind the wheel of a Sprint car.
The first 6 races have proved to be an exciting start to the 2012 Sprint Cup series season. The Stewart-Hass teams of Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman have won half of the series’ events, thus far. During the first 6 events of the year, there have been 1,925 laps completed. The only drivers to have completed them all are Dale Earnhardt Jr, Matt Kenseth and Martin Truex Jr.
