The 2016 WBKR St. Jude Radio Thon – The Calm Before The Big Day

Right now at WBKR everything is quiet and silent.  But come tomorrow, all of us will be in full St. Jude mode as we raise money for that incredible life changing hospital down in Memphis.  The set up began today and we have a feeling around here that it is going to be an incredible year.  

This is the St. Jude Phone Bank.  Right now it is being set up and all the wires and computers along with the headsets are getting ready to roll tomorrow and Friday!  Tomorrow people will begin crowding in, answering phones and getting new Partners in Hope!!

Here is the WBKR Studio.  It is ready too!  Coming up Thursday and Friday there will be tons of guests heading in and out of that doorway!

Here is the official WBKR/St. Jude waiting room where our guests can hang out Thursday and Friday.  It comes fully equipped with comfortable couches, Danny Thomas' picture and a picture of St. Jude patient Apollos.

We are very excited for the next couple days.  This radio station turns into a big ole money raising machine.  And it's thanks to all of the current and future Partners in Hope!
