If there was any doubt Miranda Lambert was fading from the country audience's and critics' minds, the eight-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year has racked up another nomination is that category plus four more for her post-divorce album The Weight of the These Wings.

Lambert has landed nominations for Album of the Year, Single and Song of the Year for her current radio single "Tin Man", Female Vocalist of the Year, and Video of the Year for "Vice". However, Lambert is not among the nominees for Entertainer of the Year which has Keith Urban, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton vying for country music's biggest award.

What I'm jazzed about is Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit landing an Album of the Year nomination for The Nashville Sound. Isbell is not a radio artist, but like Sturgill Simpson and Margo Price, he and his group have gained a huge following through touring and multiple late TV appearances. Here's just a sample of his work.

The 51st CMA Awards will take place Wednesday, November 8th and they will air live on ABC.
