Halloween has come and gone and now is the time to start to thinking about the Holiday Season. Believe it or not there is less than two weeks to get your organizations parade float put together. The actual deadline for parade entry is this Saturday November 5th. Watch the video posted here for an easy way to cut down the parade float work.

I have never put together a float but if I was given the task I would be tempted to try something similar to the video. No messy cardboard, felt, or glitter....plus when you're four feet above the heads in the crowd you don't have to wear out your arm waving.  You can also take advantage of the ability to toss candy farther than any other float. For some reason my kids think candy hurled at them from moving objects is the best kind. They would get excited about black licorice if Santa was tossing it from a cardboard chimney surrounded by strolling elves.

Whatever you and yours put into our 75th Christmas parade in downtown Owensboro the WBKR crew will be there.....most likely in silly costumes.
