The Perfect Valentine’s Day Drink: The Vanity Cocktail

Go ahead.  Make fun of me.  All my friends do.  I can't stand the taste of beer.  I cannot stand scotch.  I absolutely hate whiskey (unless it's that new Fireball stuff which tastes like melted Red Hots and make my toes curl).  If I am going to drink, I am going to drink "girly" drinks.  There!  I said it.  I own it.  I am a lightweight and if an alcoholic beverage is going to penetrate these lips it better be fruity and fun.  If you think that the Vanity Cocktail looks as good as I think it does, keep reading.  Because I have the recipe . . .

The Vanity Cocktail

1oz. (30ml) Strawberry Vodka
1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Peach Schnapps
Splash of Cranberry Juice
Dash of Sweet & Sour
Top with Sprite/7up
Garnish with Strawberries
