Toys for Tots’ Holiday Bash is Saturday December 1
Formerly called the Bikers Ball, the Holiday Bash is a Christmas event that has been one of, if not the largest contributor to the Western Kentucky Toys for Tots fundraising campaign. Jimmy Rhoades told me, "The benefit has assisted the Toys for Tots campaign, along with many other local businesses in helping take care of thousands of children each year in the 11 local counties serviced by the GySgt. W.J. Norris Detachment #804 Marine Corps League".
You want to mark your calendar for December 1 and plan to attend the 2012 Holiday Bash. It's at the James L. Yates American Legion Post #9 at 118 West Veteran's Blvd. in downtown Owensboro.
Schedule of Events for the Day includes:
Cornhole Registration - Noon to 2pm for $25 per team plus toy. A Double Elimination Cornhole Tournament begins at 2:30.
2pm Santa arrives for photo option until 5 with photographer, Amanda Golddy (make a donation to Toys For Tots and you get a Holiday postcard photo)!
2pm the big Auction. Items will be available for bidding and bids will be taken until 9pm.
5pm-7pm Dinner Buffet will be served.

5pm-6pm 9 year old sensation SKYLAR CAIN, performing Country & Holiday Music.
7pm - 9pm Ryan Hayden and the Bourbon Barrel Band
10pm - 1am INSULATED
