The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict southbound traffic to one lane on the US 41 Twin Bridges at Henderson on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
The lane restriction is to allow engineers to do routine maintenance work and continue inspections to aid in the planning of future maintenance projects on the southbound bridge.  Inspectors plan to climb on the bridge structure at various locations, weather permitting.

Southbound motorists can expect to encounter a lane restriction starting at about 9:00 a.m., CDT. The inspection work should be complete by about 2:00 p.m., Wednesday.

All southbound traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane on the bridge approach.  Southbound motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic near the entrance to Ellis Park.
