Here at WBKR, we're giving YOU the chance to win a trip to Panama City Beach, Florida! If you win, you get to vacation with Mary-Katherine and me this October!
We're taking the WBKR Morning Show on the road October 23rd and 24th. That's when we'll be broadcasting live from the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida! THREE lucky WBKR listeners are going to be there with us.
To give you the chance to win, we're baked up a new contest called WBKR's PCB Playlist. We're putting together a #SaltLife soundtrack of essential country songs that celebrate the sun, surf, beach and booze! All you have to do for a shot at winning a 3-day, 2-night stay at the resort is keep track of the songs we're putting on our proverbial mixtape.
Here's how the contest works!
WBKR'S "PCB PLAYLIST" OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
CONTEST PERIOD:
On-air qualification: Mondays through Thursdays- Monday, August 14th through Thursday, August 31st, 2023.
Grand prize giveaways:
Friday, August 18th
Friday, August 25th
Friday, September 1st.
WHEN TO PLAY:
For on-air qualification- Listen to 92.5 WBKR each weekday at the assigned times below. Each day, there will multiple chances to get qualified with our PCB PLAYLIST song titles. Those song titles will be shared on air just before 9am, 2pm, and 5pm CST Mondays through Thursdays of the contest period.
HOW IT WORKS: When you hear our official PCB PLAYLIST stager , make note of the song that plays immediately following it. Each week of the contest, Chad & Mary-Katherine are compiling a country mix tape of "vacation" songs. There will be 12 songs on each of those playlists and those songs will be shared (one at a time over the course of four consecutive days) at 9am, 2pm and 5pm daily. A new playlist gets built each week and there's a grand prize related to that playlist that will be given away each Friday of the contest period.
So, Monday through Thursday, you're encouraged to listen for the 12 songs. On Friday morning of that week, Chad & Mary-Katherine will ask for Caller #92 to recite that week's PCB Playlist back to us. When you hear that Friday morning prompt, you're to call the WBKR studio lines (270-926-WBKR, 1-800-844-WBKR or use the WBKR app and hit the CALL US button) for your chance to win.
THE GRAND PRIZE: A 3-day, 2-night stay at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida. We have THREE trips up for grabs- one the week of August 14th, one the week of August 21st and one the week of August 28th.
ADDITIONAL RULES & CONSIDERATIONS:
Winners must comply with all of the rules of the Contest, including, but not limited to, any restrictions on age and/or residency, and have not committed any fraud or deception in entering the Contest or claiming the Prize.
The winners must affirm and represent that he/she is not an employee or agent of the Station or any sponsor of the Contest and is not a member of the same household of any such employee or agent.
In consideration of the receipt of the Prize, the winners agree to be solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or other fees, including, but not limited to, any federal state or local income taxes, that are or may become payable as a result of participating in the Contest and/or receipt of the Prize.
The winners agree to allow the Station and/or its designees the right to use winners’ names, likeness, portraits, recorded voices and/or biographical material for an unlimited period of time in order to advertise, promote or publicize the Station and/or the products and services of any of its designees.
The Station is not the manufacturer or distributor of the Prize. With respect to any claims that the winners may now have, or that he/she may subsequently acquire as a result of the possession and/or use of the Prize, the winners acknowledge and agrees that he/she shall look solely to others in the chain of production and distribution of the Prize to the exclusion of the Station and any sponsors of the Contest.
The station makes no warranties of any kind with respect to the prize, including, but not limited to, any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Station hereby expressly disclaims any and all such warranties.
The winners expressly release the station, and any sponsors of the contest, and their respective officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries and employees, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that he/she may have, or may subsequently acquire, as a result of participating in the contest and/or receipt of the prize.
