Mark your calendar and clear some trunk space because the KYANA Swap Meet is back! The largest indoor automobile swap meet in the U.S. takes over 300,000 square feet at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, and after 59 years (with every show sold out since 1984!), you know it’s going to be good. If you love the thrill of the hunt and the rumble of classic car culture, this is your weekend.

Treasure Hunting at Its Finest

If you’ve never wandered the aisles of the KYANA Automotive Swap Meet, get ready because this is where projects come back to life. From vintage car parts for sale and hard-to-find old car parts to race car parts, rat rod parts, and every tool you didn’t know you needed, it’s all here under one massive roof. Whether you’re restoring, rebuilding, or just dreaming up your next project, this is the place to find that missing piece.

More Than Just Car Parts

KYANA isn’t just about what’s under the hood. You’ll spot vintage cars for sale, classic gas station memorabilia, old metal signs, and eye-catching Coca-Cola collectibles that belong in your garage. There are vintage coolers, bicycles, wagons, and all kinds of nostalgic treasures that make you stop mid-aisle and say, “Now that’s cool.” There is truly something for everyone!

LOOKS: Things You'd Find in Your Grandpa's Garage

Adventures were plentiful in the domain of your family's patriarch who saw no use for rules - unless he was the one making them. From rusty tools to a stack of filthy magazines, Grandpa's garage was a land of mystery and danger.

LOOK: See how much gasoline cost the year you started driving

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Read on to explore the cost of gas over time and rediscover just how much a gallon was when you first started driving.
