7 Must-Visit Consignment Shops in Kentucky Worth The Drive (PHOTOS)
If you are someone who loves a good deal then you probably hit up the consignment shops from time to time. We've found some amazing ones right here in Kentucky.
WHAT IS CONSIGNMENT?
Consignment shops allow you to bring your items to their store for a profit. You take items according to seasons for clothing and some take household and other items. The return for items is generally about 50% and I have seen a few places offer 60%.
The Tri-State is fortunate to have several amazing consignment shops and they all offer a variety of different items. Each shop you walk into is not going to look or have the same thing as the next and they are all locally owned and operated so you are shopping local.
CONSIGNMENT SHOP TIL YOU DROP
The first two out-of-town Kentucky shops that come to mind are in Bowling Green. Both are usually located on 31W. Since the tornado tore through last December they have had to make some changes but I wanted to at least put them on your radar.
Beverly Hills Bargain Boutique
It is one of my favorites. They are a more upscale boutique. This just means they are very selective about what they take in their store. They carry certain brands and you can always be sure they will be in tip-top condition.
Elite Repeats is a super fun consignment shop also in Bowling Green. They unfortunately suffered tornado damage and have yet to repopen but have plans to in the future. They were probably my favorite. They would host dollar days and you could get items for $1, $3, and $5. Can't wait until they open back up.
Envogue-3053 Alvey Park Dr W off Hwy 54
You can find the most unique items here. Tina, the owner, is fantastic. She carries a lot of local boutique items from Owensboro boutiques. Her prices are absolutely amazing and you can always find something you NEED when you visit.
The Clothesline-1737 Scherm Rd
The Clothesline is located in Shawnee Park on Scherm Rd in Owensboro- Daviess County. It's a resale consignment shop that offers; children's clothing, home furnishings women's clothing, fashion accessories, and other housewares. They have been around for over 20 years in the Owensboro area.
They recently made a big move just steps away from their old location. They moved right next door in the old Rite Aid building. This gives them 10,000 square feet of space to put all kinds of lovely deals for your viewing pleasure.
I love visiting the crew at The Clothesline. They always have a sale. They have a tag system and you can get anywhere from 25% off to 75% every single time you come into the store.
A Repeat Boutique-312 Wing Ave
It's an upscale boutique full of literally everything you can think of. They have clothing for the whole family and your house too. This past weekend I got tons of dollar deals. I buy ahead for my kids and store them in totes in the attic. I snapped the hat I am wearing and several other items when I went this past Saturday.
Robin's Resale & Consignment-2416 New Hartford Rd
Robin's a family-owned business. It was started by Robin Roach years ago and she has now passed the shop on to her daughter Maria. They post and put out over 400 items daily and have amazing new and used items. They even have a t-shirt shop and post new tees all the time and can make the order.
