
Win Tickets To See The Addams Family Musical Live In Owensboro
Here at WBKR, we have turned Wednesdays into WINSdays! And, today, as we dig out from a winter storm that dumped considerable amounts of snow on the Tristate, we're giving you something fun to do on the WBKR app. We're giving you an exclusive chance to win tickets to see The Addams Family Musical at the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro.
The Addams Family Musical is part of RiverPark's 2024-2025 Broadway in the 'Boro Series presented by Owensboro Health in association with Southern Star. That series kicked off December 9th with A Charlie Brown Christmas. It continued a couple of weeks later with Dear Evan Hansen. On Tuesday, February 5th, the "creepy and kooky" Addams Family.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY THEME SONG
Personally, I grew up watching The Addams Family on television. I was obsessed with that sitcom and, of course, its catchy theme song.

THE HISTORY OF THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL
The musical version of the show opened on Broadway back in 2010 with stage veterans (and legends) Nathan Lane starring as Gomez and Bebe Neuwirth starring as Morticia. The show was nominated for two Tony Awards and snagged a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Set Design.
Here's a trailer for the show that was filmed to promote a recent tour in the UK. It will give you a sample of what you can expect when you see the show.

On Thursday morning at 7:50am, Mary-Katherine and I will announce the names of our five lucky winners. Each will receive a pair of tickets to see The Addams Family at the RiverPark Center on Tuesday, February 25th. Showtime is 7:30pm.
