Oh, you got trouble, my friend. Right here, I say. Trouble right here in River City!

The beloved musical The Music Man is coming to the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro and we have your chance to win a pair of tickets to the show.

It was December 20, 2021 that the Hugh Jackman-led Broadway revival of The Music Man began previews at the The Winter Garden Theatre.

The show, which rekindled much love for the classic musical, played through January of 2023 and a national tour followed. That tour is making a stop in Owensboro on Sunday, October 4th. We have FIVE pairs of tickets up for grabs.

One of the most popular songs from Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical is "Seventy-Six Trombones."

Naturally, we have cooked up a really fun trombone-inspired contest. Take a look at this!

Now, here's what you have to do. We have hidden some trombones in that photo and you have to find them.

Once you have counted (and double-checked to make sure you didn't miss one), let us know how many you think there are! If you get the answer correct (or you're within just one trombone), you'll be eligible to snag a pair of tickets to the show this Sunday. Showtime is 5pm and we'd love to see you there.

We'll announce and contact our five lucky winners on Friday morning, October 2nd. If you're one of them, you'll be heading to the RiverPark Center in Owensboro to be whisked away to River City, Iowa to watch Harold Hill in action.

You'll watch Harold try to con those stubborn Iowans into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize. Oh, did I mention he has no musical talent?

I told you. You got trouble, my friend!

If you'd like to go ahead and buy your tickets for the show, you can do so at the RiverPark Center Box Office. Hours are Monday through Friday 10am to 3pm. You can also call 270-687-2270. You can also purchase them online at Ticketmaster.com.
