The Cat In The Hat Comes To Life On Stage in Owensboro
The beloved Dr. Seuss classic- The Cat in the Hat- debuted way back in 1957. Today, it remains one of the most beloved children's books of all-time.
It has already spawned a movie starring Mike Myers and Dakota Fanning.
And, in April, a stage version of the story is coming to the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro on Tuesday, April 21st.
The Cat in the Hat is the brainchild of Theodor Geisel, who's better known to the world as Dr. Seuss. Under that pen name, he wrote over sixty books. That list of books includes beloved classics like The Cat in the Hat, Horton Hears a Who!, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Green Eggs and Ham, and more.
The stage version of The Cat in the Hat made its debut in 2009 thanks to an adaptation by the National Theatre of Britain. The RiverPark Center website promises that you can "expect laughs, surprises, and just a bit of delightful disorder."

To celebrate the The Cat in the Hat coming to Owensnboro, we're teaming up with the RiverPark Center to give you the chance to win a pair of tickets to the show. All you have to do to be eligible to win is to fill out this quick and easy registration form.
