An Evening with Pete Rose Live Coming to Owensboro
Baseball legend Pete Rose is coming to Owensboro for a very special evening. And while details will be formally announced Thursday afternoon, we have a few details to share about the event.
"An Evening with Pete Rose Live" will be Friday, September 15th at the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, July 28th and some V.I.P. tickets will be available.
More details about the event and specific ticket information will be unveiled Thursday at a special news conference about the event. That news conference is set for 2:30pm at the RiverPark Center. In the meantime, save the date! Friday, September 15th! "An Evening with Pete Rose Live"!
Pete Rose began playing for the Cincinnati Reds in 1963 and wrapped up his storied career as a player in 1986. In the Major Leagues, he recorded 4,256 hits, had 160 home runs and 1,314 RBI's. Of course, he earned the nickname "Hit King" when he reached 4192 career hits. In addition to playing for the Reds, Rose also played for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Montreal Expos. He's a seventeen-time MLB All-Star and member of three World Series championship teams. His Cincinnati Reds jersey, #14, has been retired.
