Angel here and inquiring minds want to know...What good books are you reading this summer?  Let's call it WHATCHA READING WEDNESDAY.

MY READING IS HIT OR MISS

I have to be completely transparent with you all and say I don't get to do a whole bunch of reading on a daily basis.  I read my bible as soon as I get up in the morning before the world gets up and then I start my day.  I usually begin reading like five books at a time and never get to fully finish any of them.  I will take a book to the pool in the summer and the kids interrupt or I start one on the vacation drive and fall asleep never to pick it back up again.  I have to do better at finishing the ones I start.

WHAT I LIKE TO READ OR HAVE READ (LIST)

I love a variety of subjects when reading.  It doesn't much matter to me if it is fiction or non-fiction.  I have found over the past few years I do read more books by female authors.  I love Christian inspirational books and anything with humor.  My favorite authors are Mitch Albom and Sophie Kinsella.

Here's a list of my top 10 favorite books:

  1. The Bible (of course!)
  2. Tuesdays with Morrie-Mitch Albom
  3. The Five People You Meet in Heaven-Mitch Albom
  4. Confessions of a Shopaholic-Sophie Kinsella
  5. Can You Keep A Secret?-Sophie Kinsella
  6. Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons-Lorna Landvik
  7. The Esther Anointing-Michelle-McClain Walters
  8. The Shack-William P. Young
  9. The Circle Maker: Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams-Mark Batterson
  10. Brave:  Honest Questions Women Ask-Angela Thomas
