Area Celebrates Bill Monroe’s 100th Birthday [Video]

Bill Monroe, credited with creating bluegrass music with tunes like this was born on this date in 1911 in Rosine.  Lots of festivities surround the birthday including events at the International Bluegrass Museum next to River Park Center downtown Owensboro.
