Discussions and plans of building a museum dedicated to the father of Bluegrass music are finally coming to fruition. Bill Monroe will have a museum in his honor in his hometown of Rosine in Ohio County.

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held, Monday, May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Everett Park, the site of the new museum. The county received $300,000 from the state towards the museum's construction. It looks like they're all ready to go!

Everett Park is located at 22 Amelia Street in Rosine. The public is invited to attend.
