Here at WBKR, we're giving you an exclusive chance to win tickets to see Ashley McBryde in concert. On Thursday, September 4th, she's coming to the Carson Center for the Performing Arts in Paducah. The show is part of the 2025-2026 Carson Concert Series sponsored by Golden Eagle Distributing.

I'm not sure about you, but I have been a fan of Ashley McBryde for years. She released her debut album- Girl Going Nowhere- in early 2018. Though the album didn't produce any major hits, two of the album's tracks hit radio and certainly made an impression on a bunch of country fans.

Her follow up album- Never Will- produced McBryde's highest charting solo single to date. In 2019, "One Night Standards" nearly cracked the Top 10 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart. It fell just short, peaking at #11.

For me, her third album- Lindeville- was her crowning moment as a singer/songwriter/artist. The concept album spawned a few tracks that resonated with country fans everywhere. Even though they weren't traditional 'radio' hits, songs like "Brenda, Put Your Bra On" and "Bonfire at Tina's" hit familiar nerves. Like the other songs on the album, the lyrics are riveting, raw, and real. Lindeville is a brilliant musical study of random small town U.S.A.and the people who live in it.

And, for me, this was THE standout performance on the 58th Annual ACM Awards.

Ashley's most recent album- The Devil You Know- was released two years ago. The lead-off single from it nearly cracked the Top 20.

And, don't forget! Ashley does have a #1 country song on her resume too. Her award-winning duet with Carly Pearce, "Never Wanted to Be That Girl", hit #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart back in 2021.
