Auction Preview of Massive Kentucky Antiques & Memorabilia Collection in Daviess County

Yesterday, I was invited to broadcast at a really unique old farm house belonging to the Baird family.  American Land and Farm is hosting an auction of Mr. Jerry Baird's lifetime collection of farm equipment, movie memorabilia, antiques, and so much more.

The National Farm Machinery Tractor Pulls

Jerry Baird was not just a collector. He was a beloved husband, father, Pepaw, farmer, inventor and Kentucky icon. One of his most notable accomplishments was as the co-founder of the National Farm Machinery Tractor Pulls. Baird, along with Billy Joe Miles, Joe England, Walter Harder Jr., Donnie Bittel, and Carl Mercer were inducted into the Kentucky Motor Sports Hall of Fame in 2010 for their contributions.

The fine folks at American Land and Farm have curated an incredible collection of antique toys, movie posters and memorabilia, farm equipment, vintage tractor pull memorabilia, Lionel trains, vintage cowboy boots, hats, buckles, beautiful pieces of antique furniture and more.

The collection is organized into three online auctions that are currently open for bids. Auction 1 consisting of equipment, implements, firearms, ammo, tools, and shop items closes May 13th at 6PM. Auction 2 consisting of household items, antiques, farm show memorabilia and collectibles ends May 14th at 6 PM. Auction 3 consisting of movies, movie memorabilia, and advertising ends May 15th at 6 PM.

Auction Preview and Bidding Information

You can view all of the items and register to bid for them on American Land and Farm's website. If you want to preview the collection in person, you can visit the farm house at 10565 KY-81 in Utica, KY on Thursday May 9th from 1PM to 6PM. Here is a sneak peek of some of the collection. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the amazing collection some of which you won't be able to find anywhere else.
