Kentucky Mansion With Interesting Features Up For Auction With Starting Bid of Only $1
I tend to be very realistic about goals and aspirations. I'm not typically materialistic in that I'm perfectly happy with our little house and as long as my vehicle gets me from point A to point B, that's all I care about. However, the idea of living in a beautiful mansion with features out of a Barbie Dream House seems pretty awesome.
Of course, like most people, that is totally out of my budget and will probably never be in my future. Crazier things have happened though! I came across a home, well, a legit mansion, actually, that is going up for auction soon that has a starting bid of the low, low price of only one dollar.
Yep, you read that right! For one "George Washington," you technically could call a 29-acre property "home sweet home." Located in Prospect, a suburb of Louisville and one of the nicest places to live in Kentucky. Chances are it will sell for much more than that though. I mean, you can't even get something from the McDonald's Dollar Menu for only a dollar anymore.
Especially considering there is a beautiful indoor pool with a slide, an indoor shooting range with three lanes, and an elevator. Along with five bedrooms and ten bathrooms, it has some great walk-in closets and even a small beauty salon complete with a barber chair, hair-washing sink, and dryer chair. It was built in 1995, and while some rooms definitely look like a time capsule, they are still wonderfully kept. The outdoor space is gorgeous.
The auction will be held March 2nd at 11 AM Eastern time. Check out these awesome photos. What is your favorite room in the house?
