Join The BBQ & Barrels Ticket Chase For A Chance To Meet Chase Matthew

How would you like the chance to meet country music star Chase Matthew? Well, it could happen when he comes to Owensboro for our annual BBQ & Barrels festival on Saturday, May 10th.

Chase fans were pumped this February when the City of Owensboro announced that we was going to be the headliner for this year's two-day celebration of BBQ and bourbon.

Here at WBKR, we're pretty excited about it too. Of course, Chase is coming off his first #1 country song!

Chase will be taking the stage- for a huge FREE concert- on Saturday, May 9th on the front lawn of the Owensboro Convention Center. Here at WBKR, we have access to a VIP section right in front of the stage. We have five pairs of VIP passes up for grabs AND five pair of Meet & Greet passes to go along with them! YOU have the chance to win them.

We've created a brand new contest that will put Chase's biggest fans to a fun and frantic test. It's called the BBQ & Barrels Ticket Chase and it's taking place 3pm to 8pm, Friday, May 8th in downtown Owensboro on Day #1 of BBQ & Barrels.

Here's how our contest works!

First, be sure to download the WBKR app.

Once you have the app, be sure to enable push notifications. You're going to need them turned on to play. Starting at 3pm CST, we will send out a link to a set of clues for the first pair of tickets and meet and greets up for grabs. Instead of hiding the actual passes, we're going to be hiding a FLAT CHASE!

Each person who finds one will WIN!

We have FIVE pairs up for grabs, so we'll send out clues throughout the afternoon. The clues to the first set of tickets will be delivered at 3pm. The next ticket clues will be given out at 4pm. The 'Chase' for the third pair of tickets will begin at 5pm. The hunt for the 4th set of tickets begins at 6pm. The 'Chase' for the final pair of tickets will begin at 7pm.

WBKR's Chad Benefield, Barb Birgy, and Mary-Katherine Maddox will be on hand at the WBKR Command Post, which will be set up in front of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum.  When participants find 'Chase', they will be instructed to return him to Chad, Barb, and MKat. Then, they will be given their VIP concert lanyards and instructions about the official Chase Matthew meet and greet.

Contest rules must be followed and anyone determined to have violated the rules will be disqualified from prize consideration. Decisions made by the WBKR staff are final and indisputable.
