Brooks & Dunn, Jon Pardi Coming to Ford Center in Evansville
Grammy award-winning duo Brooks & Dunn are getting ready to Play Something Country at the Ford Center in Evansville. We'll have a Tequila Little Time when your 2017 ACM and CMA award winner Jon Pardi kicks the show-off. Tickets will be available on Friday morning, but you can also "win tickets before you can buy them" right here on WBKR. Here's how.
The last time I saw Brooks & Dunn was at Roberts Stadium in Evansville back in 2004. It was the final stop of their Red Dirt Road tour with Josh Turner and Joe Nichols. Everyone, including myself, was doing their best Boot Scootin’ Boogie throughout the stadium. It was to support the release of their eighth studio album, 'Red Dirt Road' which produced three top ten singles. Later that year, they were nominated for Entertainer of the Year and went on to win Vocal Duo of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Country Music Association Awards. Since then, they've been inducted to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
I haven't seen them in concert since that tour. Were you at the concert at Roberts Stadium too? Nobody was in their seats when this song came on!
