Coming into Sunday,  Kyle Busch hadn't won in 36 races. Well, the drought has finally ended! Busch, who had never won at Pocomo Raceway, came back from a 6 second deficit to lead the final 16 laps. The #18 car was dominate throughout, winning stage 1, leading all 50 laps. Busch and his team chose to pit late in stage 2, allowing Clint Bowyer to grab a stage win for the first time. The Joe Gibibs racing driver would not be denied, however, leading when it mattered most, for his first win of the 2017 season. With the win, Busch clinches a playoff birth, and will race for the championship, just 6 weeks away.

'The Monster Energy Cup will head to upstate New York next Sunday for the I Love New York 355. The race will be held at historic Watkins Glen International, next Sunday afternoon. As always, WBKR will have complete coverage beginning at 1PM.
