Casey’s General Store Raises Money for Special Olympics Kentucky
As you all know, here at WBKR, we are huge supporters of Special Olympics Kentucky. And we're pleased to announce and help spread the news that Casey's General Stores in the Commonwealth have launched a month-long promotion to raise money for the cause as well! Here's how they're doing it!
Casey’s General Store has eleven locations right here in western Kentucky in the heart of the WBKR listening area. And they have launched a chain-wide Special Olympics fundraiser that will last throughout the month of June.
According to SOKY Communications Director, Mark Buerger, "a portion of the sale of every 44-ounce soft drink during this month will be donated to Special Olympics. In addition, every Casey’s General Store location will be selling Special Olympics store hanger icons with the proceeds going to Special Olympics."
