As I was driving home Sunday night, I saw my first house that lit up for the holidays. I think the "too soon" argument for me has mellowed in my old age. I even started listening to Christmas music the other day. And the timely tradition of TV Christmas specials is just around the corner. 

CBS, home of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman has released their holiday special schedule.

First up, on Thanksgiving (11/28) the network airs their Thanksgiving Day Parade (7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)

Following on Friday night, November 29th, it's all about Frosty as Frosty the Snowman and Frosty Returns air back-to-back beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday night, November 30th, it's a full night of holiday fun with two Robbie the Reindeer specials at the beginning at 7:00 p.m. followed by The Story of Santa Claus airing at 8:00 p.m.

On Monday, December 2nd it's the story of the most famous reindeer of all, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer airs at 7:00 p.m.

The I Love Lucy Christmas Special airs Friday, December 20th at 7:00 p.m. and rounding out CBS' holiday specials is A Home for the Holidays with Idina Menzel airing Sunday, December 22nd at 8:00 p.m. The Frozen and Wicked star just put out her second holiday album Christmas: A Season of Love.
