There's nothing better than eating out with family and friends at a traditional Mexican restaurant. Food prices are typically affordable, and drinks are always served cold. If you need a place to get a quick bite, they can get you out the door in a timely fashion. There are many reasons to dine at a Mexican restaurant, and in Owensboro, we have many great options to choose from. El Tucan Del Cielo is just one of them! MEXICAN CUISINE IS THE MOST SEARCHED FOR IN KENTUCKY

Whether you like fajitas, tacos, tortillas, or enchiladas, there are many restaurants to choose from in Owensboro. Based on this new study from Pricelisto.com, it seems we can't get enough of it in Kentucky. Mexican is the most popular cuisine in the Commonwealth, averaging 54,152 searches per month, according to an analysis of Google search data.

Research conducted by the online price monitoring website Pricelisto analyzed Google search data to determine what cuisines are most popular in each state.

"The data examined the search volume for cuisine-related searches in each state over the past 12 months. Different combinations of search terms were used to show the search volume, and the results were then averaged over the past 12 months and then aggregated by each cuisine to determine the most popular food in each state. For example, search terms such as “[cuisine] food”, “[cuisine] food near me” or “[cuisine] recipes]” were used to gather data."

EL TUCAN DEL CIELO MOVES TO NEW LOCATION IN OWENSBORO

On January 5th, 2023, El Tucan Del Cielo on Tamarack Road suffered from a kitchen fire. A month later, they temporarily moved to another location in Owensboro. Now, they finally have a new permanent location to call home. Moving day was on Saturday, and they're open for business!

El Tucan Del Cielo has officially taken over the closed Bubba Gandy location at 3600 Frederica Suite K in Owensboro. And yes, it's in the same strip center they were in temporarily.
