Cheech & Chong Joining Other Pop Culture Icons for the Lexington Toy & Comic Con
My introduction to the iconic comedy duo, Cheech & Chong, came when I was a little kid. My sister had a copy of their single "Sister Mary Elephant." She played it all the time to my delight. I laughed my butt off every time.

In case you're wondering, no, they weren't singing. "Sister Mary Elephant" made the Billboard Top 40, but it was a comedy recording. It was all spoken word. Recordings like that could be radio hits back then. Here it is. It's not funny like it was when I was a kid, but here it is.
If you get a chance to meet these legends at Lexington Toy & Comic Con this Saturday or Sunday, the only two days of the four-day event that they'll be there, drop that reference. I totally would.
Lexington Comic Con Lineup
Cheech & Chong aren't the only pop culture icons you'll encounter. Emmy-winner and Back to the Future's Doc Brown, Christopher Lloyd; Seinfeld star and voice artist extraordinaire Patrick Warburton; Emmy nominee Giancarlo Esposito; Oscar nominee Randy Quaid; cast members from Roswell and Supernatural; and the voice casts of The Powerpuff Girls, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Fairly Oddparents will also be on hand.
The full lineup, which also includes Adrienne Barbeau, Beverly D'Angelo, and many others, is posted on the event's website. As is typical with "cons," there will be an extra charge for autographs and selfies.
Lexington Toy & Comic Con is set for March 26th through March 29th at Central Bank Center.
