A few years ago, Jaclyn Graves and I were special guests at the Lanham Brothers Jamboree at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre.  We were there primarily to sing, but we did get to show off our clogging skills (or lack thereof) during one of the Foot Stompin' Express Cloggers' routines.  We were tragic, but at least we looked good trying to pass ourselves off as pros.  LOL!

While I couldn't unearth the video of the two of us clogging, I did find some classic Lanham Brothers Jamboree video on YouTube.  Check this out!

Well, if you've ever wanted to learn how to clog, the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum is giving you the opportunity.  They're offering clogging classes this summer with Barry Lanham, the head dancer and fearless leader for the Foot Stompin' Express Cloggers seen above.  Barry (there in the front, with the white pants, in the video still) is AWESOME!

As you can see, Barry is offering six-week programs for beginners and intermediate dancers.  The dates are as follows:

Intermediate Dates (Tuesdays): June 8, June 15, June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13

Beginner Dates (Thursdays): June 10, June 17, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15

Classes for both experience levels begin at 6pm daily and are open to a variety of age groups- from toddlers to senior citizens.
