ROMP 2025: Bluegrass Music Festival Returns To Owensboro’s Yellow Creek Park
Bluegrass music fans! It's time to start packing up the camper, rounding up those bag chairs and blankets, start stockpiling what you want to put in that cooler, and start saving the date. ROMP 2025 is set for June 25th through the 28th at Yellow Creek Park in Daviess County, Kentucky.
As you likely know, Owensboro is the Bluegrass Music Capital of the World and ROMP is the city's biggest bluegrass event of the year. Last year, country music (and bluegrass music) star Dierks Bentley headlined the event. Here's a great 'recap' video which allows you to relive the 2024 festivities or experience them for the first time.
ROMP has become one of the state's most-beloved music festivals. In fact, it's become an international event. People flock from other parts of the U.S. and other countries enjoy four days of phenomenal music and fellowship. ROMP is to bluegrass lovers what Louisville's Louder Than Life is to rock fans.
ROMP features on-site camping, delicious and varied food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, wildly entertaining late-night after parties, and some of the biggest names in bluegrass music live on the main stage.
You may already be wondering who those names are going to be? You're about to find out.
Next week, officials with the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum will announce the lineup for the 2025 event. Not only we'll we learn who is coming to play at ROMP next year, but the tickets will immediately go on sale.
