10 Country Songs That Would Make Great Scary Movies
This morning on the show, in preparation for spooky season, we asked you what country songs you think would make great scary movies. Some of the most popular tunes in country music history are about murder, cheating scandals, and revenge, so we knew there were plenty of good ones to choose from.
This genre even has songs that would be excellent options for those corny, cringey B-movies that you love to hate-watch. I feel like a Chattahoochie horror movie would be epic. Read this in your creepiest movie trailer voice, "Waaaay doooown yonderrrrr...on the Chattahoochieeee...it gets hotterrrr...than a hoochie... COOCHIEEE MWUAHAHA!"
The jetskiing serial killer has a hankering for a burger and a grape sno-cone, drops his date off early, but doesn't go home? Sounds like he's up to no good in the pale moonlight!

That one is definitely a stretch, but y'all had some awesome suggestions! I decided to compile the top ten most-mentioned country songs that would make great scary movies or maybe even a limited series on Netflix. The first song on our list would probably need more than a feature film to get all the juicy, suspenseful details.
